Mainau Island Adventure Forest

On the site of Mainau’s former Saint Catherine’s monastery, a fascinating facility has been set up. Its centrepiece consists of a climbing forest featuring nine varied courses reaching heights of up to 16 metres. Another exceptional feature of the Adventure Forest is the monastery ruin, which has a playground, a barbecue site and a wooden marble run close by.

The high rope course is only reachable by bike or on foot. The closest parking options are either at Constance University or Mainau Island, both approximately 800 metres away. Please note that there is usually no mobile phone reception at the Adventure Forest.
